The heart shape is a lovely way to end a Valentine meal but if you don't have the heart shaped valentine cutters go ahead and use another shape and bring the heart shape in with a heart shaped chocolate candy on top. You can also use glasses, shot glasses, cleaned cans or even a knife to cut your shapes out of the pastry, be sure to dip whatever you're cutting with into a little flour to keep it from sticking to the dough.
