CHOCOLATE LEMON MERINGUE PIE

This is my favorite way to eat lemon meringue pie - with a nice layer of chocolate ganache under the lemon! I had combined a small lemon meringue tart and chocolate at a buffet in Vegas and it inspired me so the next time I made a lemon meringue pie I made some ganache and coated the pie shell before I spooned in the lemon and it was great!

Try it and let me know how you like it!

WOWEE!!! This one sounds too decadently delicious for words! I'm not kidding, just reading the description made my mouth water. The lemon/choco combo is a gift from the gods! Thanks, Ms. Pop Art for yet another wonderful recipe!

I never heard of a choc meringue pie. If I make this Ray may want to marry me all over again. Thanks Pop Art Diva you are amazing. Artists like you go way beyond and above with talents and gifts that keep being discovered.

Rosie - it's actually a simple lemon meringue pie but the chocolate part is a layer of chocolate ganache coating the pie shell under the lemon filling - it's delish!
