THE MINI CORN DOG RECIPE CARDS

As promised here are the recipe cards for the Mini Corn Dogs! These are a bit more work than the Pigs in a Blanket but they taste wonderful and will remind you of the county fairs of your youth!

Psssst - I have been known to cheat and use some corn bread mixes sometimes!!!

Try these with my recipes for the Orange Julius Martini or the Lemon Drop Martini from The Martini Diva - both have a wonderful refreshing quality that makes them a wonderul complement to these two concession stand inspired appetizers!

P.P.S. - I just completed the LEMON DROP MARTINI ART for my PopArtDiva Boutique and you can now get tees, coasters, cups, aprons and more with this fun art that doubles as a recipe card! Cool idea, huh?

CHERRY CATSUP - Put a little zing in this king of condiments!

I love cherries and I love anything cherry flavored. It's been my favorite flavor since I was a kid. I've even concocted three Cherry Martinis! (The Chocolate Cherry Cordial Martini, The Perfect Cherry Martini and the Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini.

When I was at a friend's house a few weeks ago for a hamburger cookout she brought out a bottle of cherry catsup! That was the best catsup I've ever had! It made that hamburger a gourmet meal. You can't imagine what it did for french fries!

I almost stole the bottle from her, but instead I went searching for some recipes for homemade cherry catsup. Then I did a little experimenting and settled on this one!

Not only is is great as catsup (how do you spell Ketchup?) but it's also a wonderful dipping sauce! I immediately made up some of my Mini Corn Dogs and Pigs In A Blanket and had myself a little feast. I ate all the catsup up and now I have to make more!

Try it with your next hamburger and shake up some Perfect Cherry Martini to have a full cherry fest!

I just want to know why Todd Wilbur has THIRTEEN YEAR OLD TWINKIES??

I know, I know, I haven't given you a recipe for a while but I have been working really hard giving my pop culture art website, PopArtDiva.com a makeover! It will be live by the end of this week so check it out! Then I'll get to work on some new recipes and cards!

Would it make you less mad at me for my lack of culinary freebies lately if I tell you that my own eating habits have pretty much included nothing but cereal, frozen dinners, lots of caffeine and some seriously sad food because of the 18 hour days at the computer? No? Well, kiss my grits to quote Flo from Mel's Diner! No Soup For You!

But I will give you a very funny video. . . . .

So, there's this really cute guy in Orange County (California) who will show you how to clone famous food! His name is Todd Wilbur aka "Food Cloner Dude" and he's got recipe videos for the Big Mac, Planet Hollywood's Chicken Crunch and even Starbuck's Cranberry Bliss Bar. But the best one by far is his video on how to clone a Twinkie!

I don't know why anyone would want to spend the time making junk food that you can get at Wally World for around three bucks, but his makeshift Twinkie pan is ingenious and I love how he tossed the high-end chi chi Twinkie pan aside. Oh, and wait 'til you see what he does with the petrified Twinkies! ROFLMAO!

The "Food Cloner Dude" is the best food show in town! Now watch the video and you'll understand my post title:
