I love cherries and I love anything cherry flavored. It's been my favorite flavor since I was a kid. I've even concocted three Cherry Martinis! (The Chocolate Cherry Cordial Martini, The Perfect Cherry Martini and the Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini.When I was at a friend's house a few weeks ago for a hamburger cookout she brought out a bottle of cherry catsup! That was the best catsup I've ever had! It made that hamburger a gourmet meal. You can't imagine what it did for french fries!
I almost stole the bottle from her, but instead I went searching for some recipes for homemade cherry catsup. Then I did a little experimenting and settled on this one!
Not only is is great as catsup (how do you spell Ketchup?) but it's also a wonderful dipping sauce! I immediately made up some of my Mini Corn Dogs and Pigs In A Blanket and had myself a little feast. I ate all the catsup up and now I have to make more!
Try it with your next hamburger and shake up some Perfect Cherry Martini to have a full cherry fest!
